Several years ago Pierpaolo and Fabrizio bought three beehives to pollinate the orchards on the family farm and also to finally put into practice their years of study on this fascinating subject: beekeeping. The comments of friends and relatives, the first discoverers of their honey, were enthusiastic. Since then, this passion has become a profession and the circle of those who appreciate their honey has widened considerably. There is only one secret: not to change what nature has already produced perfectly. Even today, with more than 200 hives. In order to obtain honeys of different botanical origin, the hives are moved throughout the year to different blooms: an operation known as "Nomadism". The families are only moved at night to be positioned at dawn on the new collection field, at least 2 km away from the previous one, to allow the bees to reorient themselves and find their hive in the new location. As with other agricultural activities, weather conditions play a fundamental role in beekeeping, which is why the characteristics and availability of honeys can vary depending on the year.
