Bread for every taste - the Näckler family has been the artisan baker in Nova Levante for three generations. The father, Johann Näckler, learned the art of baking during the war years between 1915 and 1916 from master bakers Friedrich Skuber and Hans Ladinser in the South Tyrolean capital. In 1919 Johann became a baker. In 1920 he took over the bakery of the widow Gertraud Tschager (today's Straudi bakery) for five years and settled in Nova Levante.
