The small mill located in Via Sant'Antonio can boast of a 4 centuries long history. Since 1815 it has been owned by the Silbernagl family, the only one that still keeps the millstone tradition alive in Bolzano. Over time, various types of flour have also been added, in particular wholemeal flour, spelt, buckwheat and barley. Since 2018 the company has been run by Klaus Silbernagl together with his wife Ilse and his son Stefan (seventh generation). The range of products has expanded and refined over time. Today the sales range includes a wide assortment of special cereals, feedstuffs and high-quality food products. Special mention should be made of organic products and regional grains, to which the Silbernagl family pays special care and attention.
