Covered in a mantle of juniper berries and thyme, Eggemoa's 'Floralpina' soft cheese is an ambassador for the South Tyrolean Alpine landscape. Made from daily milk from South Tyrolean farms, it is then refined with thyme and juniper berries. The mixture is creamy and the taste intense and acidic. An excellent example of how the refining process means ennobling the product.
"Floralpina' is reminiscent of the environment of the alpine farms and pastures. This is due to the presence of wild juniper berries, collected by the producers and then mixed with thyme.
